Joel Breger

Surveying, Topography
Joel is our Senior topographical surveying specialist – his expertise and advise ensures that projects under LJHC are anchor on good data.  He had led senior roles for EDF in maintenance and monitoring surveys, and his work has been instrumental in ensuring the ongoing success of the capstone Nam Theun 2 project in Lao PDR.

Dr. Stephan Mihai

Geology
Stephan is one of LJ’s senior geologist with over 50 years of global geological experience. Currently based in Romania, Stephan’s has a very broad global experience in geology, and is often requested to evaluate challenging formations for complex constructions.

Jean-Louis is a world renowned geologist who has been involved with many notable projects around the world. He is an active member of ICOLD, and is the go-to person for sites which complex geology. Jean-Louis is based in Corsica, France.

Pascal Brissard

Construction Management, Maintenance
Pascal is LJ’s Senior Construction Expert with over 30 years experience helping maintain dams in France. With a long stand engagement with EDF he has designed, overseen and deployed the inspection and maintenance routines of numerous hydropower projects, ensuring that plant performance are optimised.

Dan Covaceanu

Dam Design, Hydraulic Structures
Dan Covaceanu is a recognised and certified expert in Hydraulic Structures Design. His experience includes project manager roles with EDF-CIH, and notable assignments as consultant to various hydropower design institutes. LJ is proud to have the support of Dan as one of our Senior Dam Designers.
